Website Revival

I had a great idea to create a website that would present fun, interesting, and educational information, so in 2016 my friend Buddy, and I created The Jim Sayers Experience. That was great, but between traveling and dealing with health issues, my idea got placed on the back burner. Now that we are living in 2020 AC (2020 After Covid-19) I now have time to resume course, but along with the rest of the world, the Internet has changed, and the smartphone has also created a new universe for all of us. The old Paradigm just does not have the value that it once had. What in the world is going on?

Have reached critical mass with the Internet?

If you spend every waking on the net, you will never even see 1% of what might interest you. Are you old enough to remember when a company was just worried about competing with a competitor on the internet for potential prospects? Those days are ancient history. Now the entire Internet, and its little brother the smartphone are the single biggest distractions in our lives, many websites and videos are now competing for your time, and your money.

What now?

Does it seem as if you are on a freight train speeding down a grade toward a steep curve in the tracks. If our pace of life does not slow down then we will for sure jump the tracks, or has that already happened? Does anyone know how the Covid-19 Catastrophe will end? I sure don’t, but from what I am seeing it will not likely end well. Even my cat is concerned!

Covid Corridor

I do not wish to go down the Covid-19 Corridor. There are already 8,236 websites doing that. My point is that life as we know it, or have known it, is over. Wow, did I just say that? Well if that’s true, then what is the replacement Paradigm?

I don’t know what happens now, but I will keep feeding my website, and keep trying to be a positive place for people. That is not easy, and maybe the things that interest me might not interest you. I will soon find out. In the meantime, I would like to hear what interests you. That’s a more important issue. How has Covid-19 affected you? Do you have any ideas as to how we get out of this mess?

My seabag is packed, and I am ready to go at a moment’s notice.
