In 2006, I conducted a series of interviews at the Headquarters of the Panama Canal for my radio show. Little did I know that I was interviewing the future Administrator of the Panama Canal, Jorgé Quijano.  At the time of the interview he was the head of the Marine Operations Division, but not long after the interview, Jorgé was chosen for the top job as the canal CEO to oversee the enormous expansion project.
